Old School Cubs
One of my first designs for my Cubs alumni project, I found a couple addresses for older players I had not had success with in the past. Unfortunately, I lost my .psd files in a hard drive crash, so I had to rebuild the set from hand in early 2017.
Lee Gregory
An older Cub from 1954, I saw that Mr. Gregory was signing fairly consistently, so I whipped up the Old School design and sent him a couple cards to sign. Mr. Gregory returned 1/2 customs (K!AO) in 6 days via his home.
Vincente Amor
Pulled in a huge White Whale from the 1950's tonight! I originally sent to Mr. Vincente Amor back in 2011, but my envelope was RTS'd. Saw a recent attempt with a succes on Sportscollectors.net and took a shot. It took 30 days, but Mr. Amor, who appeared in 4 games with the Cubs in 1955 returned 3/4 customs (K1AO). So happy to have this one home!
